Janis has been a registered nurse since 1985 and practiced as a school nurse the past 20 years . She is the school nurse for Camden Hills Regional High School, a small rural school in Rockport, Maine.
She has her National Certification in School Nursing and is member of the Maine and National Association of School Nurses. Currently, she serves as the Maine Director to the National Association of School Nurses. Janis was Maine's School Nurse of the Year for 201 8-19.
