Emily J. Jones, Ph.D., RNC-OB, FAHA, FPCNA, is an Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing. Dr. Jones graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Since 2005, she has been licensed as a Registered Nurse. Beyond licensure, since 2009, she has maintained clinical certification in inpatient obstetrics.
In 2010, Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Ph.D. in Nursing where she specialized in childbearing women's cardiometabolic health. Dr. Jones holds Fellow status in the American Heart Association (FAHA) and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (FPCNA) in recognition of her expertise at the intersection of childbearing women's reproductive health and cardiometabolic health.
